After loading screen blackness...

I put the resolution down to 8sync like the website said. After I log-in the screen is semi black I can see some things I was able to click around until I found the username and passwords button. After I logged in that way I created a char, in the dark lol all I could see was his hair and after that I tried to login and it didn't work.. plox halp?
